Directions to ASIJ

ASIJ is in the western suburbs of Tokyo.  To get to our school:

By Train:
From
Narita Airport
(total time to ASIJ is approximately 3 hours):  Take the NEX train to Shinjuku or Tokyo station.  This will take 70 minutes. Transfer to the Chuo Line.

From Haneda Airport (total time to ASIJ is approximately 2 hours):  Take the metro Keikyu Line and transfer to the Yamanote Line.  Take the Green Yamanote Line to Shinjuku and transfer to the Orange Chuo Line, going west.

From downtown Tokyo (total time to ASIJ is approximately 1 1/2 hours): Take the Chuo Line (the orange train) west, toward Tachikawa and Takao. Get off at Musashi Sakai Station.  This will take 30-40 minutes.  Musashi Sakai is NOT a stop for an express train.
At Musashi Sakai, exit the station to the south, go down lots of stairs, turn right, walk about 100 meters and enter the  Seibu-Tamagawa (yellow train) train wicket.
Board the train (it will only go one way, as Musashi Sakai is the end of the route) to Tama Station, the second stop. The Seibu Tamagawa Line runs every 12 minutes for most of the day.

Walking from Tama Station:  It is about a 5 minute walk from the Tama station to the school.  At Tama Station, As you exit the station, go down the steps and turn right.  Go to street.  Turn right.  Go across tracks.  Turn left on road that goes along the tracks.  Go a few longish blocks to the first 4-way crossing.  There's a little temple across the street on your right.  Turn right at this street.  you will pass one intersection.  This is the corner of the beginning of ASIJ, which is  on your right.  You will pass the new field with artificial turf.  Walk on straight until you get to main entrance, about a block.  The guard will direct you to high school guidance.

By Taxi: If you wish, taxis are available at the south exit of Musashi Sakai Station or the east exit of Tama Station.  The cost will be about 2,000 yen.
