Bamboo, Music and Tea with John Neptune

John "Kaizen" Neptune will be the guide in this intro to the Japanese shakuhachi and koto music.  Neptune is an exciting world famous performer and fun sensei.  He blends traditional Japanese and modern Western cultures to create his own unique style of music.  He will teach the basics of playing this beautiful flute as well as beginning koto (a plucked stringed instrument).  Have a rare opportunity to learn the ancient Japanese tea ceremony.  The culminating adventure will be a mini concert by John Neptune after which the participants will join him on their new instruments.
