Bosho Peninsula: Tradition and the Future

Chiba is one of the most exciting areas near Tokyo.  Old and new coexist in Chiba.  It is well known for its lovely gorge and beautiful beaches.  The trip begins by crossing Tokyo Bay through famous Umihotaru, with stops at an activity center for persimmon picking, a BBQ lunch and other activities.  The hotel is located on the beach and has over 30 types of baths (many are swimsuit friendly for shy bathers.)  The buffet dinner at the hotel is quite famous.  The second day of the trip includes Katsura's open-air fish market and hiking a beautiful gorge.  The journey ends with a tour of Fujitsu Dome Theater where we learn about the latest technology and experience the amazing 3D-motion picture.
