Edo

    Most of us live in Tokyo without knowing much about the history and tradition of this exciting city. Formerly called Edo, Tokyo has many historic sites. Students on The American School in Japan's JUMP trip 2002 experienced the culture of Edo and learned a little about the history of this city. The trip also allowed newcomers to Japan a brief introduction to the major historic sites of the city.
