High School students at The American School in Japan take part in the Japan Understanding and Motivational Project--JUMP--each November. Members of the 9th grade class take a class trip to the Hakone/Mt. Fuji area while students in grades 10, 11 and 12 head off in about 20 different directions within Japan.
JUMP trips offer a broad range of interests and generally last 2 days. Itineraries and activities vary depending upon the trip.
Below are links to picture galleries for some of this year's JUMP groups.
