Sakura Medal Art Contest

All HS & MS students are invited to design a cover for a book to be offered to the Sakura Medal winners for 2006. The book will hold a sampling of feedback from the students from the different participating international schools.
Specifications for the front cover design

All front covers need to be of A4 size or a little bigger

The design needs to include a circular open space with a diameter of 5 cm. This is where we will later add the Sakura medal.

Competition Procedure

1. The two categories for ASIJ HS and MS students are:

English language Middle School / High School Books and
Japanese language Middle School / High School Books

2. Each school will send its best five designs for each of the
categories into the interschool competition.

3. The winning designs will be used as book covers for the winning authors

Please submit your designs to either
Mrs. Hayakawa or Mr. Swist by March 10, 2006.
Make sure your name is in pencil on the back.

Please note: students working on this project in Ms. Calvillo's classes should submit their designs directly to her.
