Australian YA Author Visited ASIJ
Thanks to the generosity of the PTA, the libraries invited Australia's top best-selling author for young adults, John Marsden, to spend a week at ASIJ. Best known for the award-winning novel, So Much To Tell You, and his exciting and tremendously popular Tomorrow series,  John Marsden  is a prolific writer with many more books to his credit. He is also an educator who conducts writing camps for both adults and young people at his estate near Melbourne.
Mr. Marsden worked with Middle School and High School students in classrooms and held writing workshops for teachers. He also addressed parents at a special evening presentation:

So much to tell you:
John Marsden talks about language, communication, parenting and issues affecting young people

The talk was held at at the Tokyo American Club on Wednesday May 7th, 2003 and was followed by a  book signing session. If you missed the session at TAC, a number of Mr. Marsden's titles are still available in the Main Library.
