The girls of Kijimadaiko performed for ASIJ on
Friday, October 29th. Later they watched the Halloween
Parade, attended
the HS Halloween Party and went off for an overnight
homestay
with ASIJ families.

Kijimadaiko is a youth
taiko group (ages 10-16) from Kijimadaira in Nagano Prefecture. In
October 2003 they won the Odaiko competition in the Second Tokyo
International Wadaiko Contest. They also performed in the opening
ceremony of the 1998 Nagano Olympics The youngest members of the
troupe were invited to perform last year at the
Japanese Embassy in Luxembourg.
