I have a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, an M. Sc. from the University of Hawaii and an Ed.D. from Temple University Japan. I have been a teacher of English as a second or foreign language for many years and in various countries. I have also edited professional journals, presented papers and invited talks at international conferences and published a number of books and articles on teaching, second language acquisition processes, bilingualism and CALL (computer assisted language learning). I have retired from Senshu University and am in Victoria BC, Canada.
