Kathleen Harrison fell in love with the creative process of writing at a young age and completed her first full length novel at only fourteen years of age. She went on to graduate from the University of Delaware and currently holds a Pennsylvania teaching certificate. When she learned to scuba dive in 1991 in the California kelp forests, it became obvious that her two passions could, and should, be combined. It was then that she began incorporating diving into her fictional writing. She believed that there were a lot of scuba divers in search of an interesting novel that focused around the underwater sport that they loved so much.
