English editor: Thomas Clay Winn : the life of an American missionary in early modern Japan / by Shoshichi Nakazawa ; translated by Komei Go.  Koro-sha, Otsu, November, 2004

Notes from Mr. Winn:
...
I was the English editor and my classmate from Canadian Academy, Komei Go, was the translator, since the book was first written in 1933 in Meiji Japanese. Some ASIJ folks may be interested, since my great grandfather arrived in Japan quite early, in 1873. It is interesting from a historical aspect, as well as to those who may be interested in missions in Japan. The book is available from Koro-sha publishers in Otsu, and carries ISBN 4-87534-342-6.

It was a ten year project to do the translation, editing, and printing. The original author was Shoshichi Nakazawa, who was a co-teacher with Dr. Winn in Kanazawa.
