Background of the Japan Source ninks |
| |
|
The American School in Japan (ASIJ) provides an
American-style education to U.S., Japanese, Europeans and others who speak English fluently. Founded in Tokyo a century ago, ASIJ has long had strong links to and interest in the culture which surrounds us. For your use, we have developed various pages to provide full text information about Japan in English. The Japan Source was originally created by Vicky Downs, the head librarian at ASIJ for forty years. It includes links to hundreds of sites on the Internet which provide information about Japan useful to students in grades K-12 and for those transitioning to lives in and around Tokyo. If you have comments, questions or suggestions regarding the material contained in ASIJ's Japan Source, please contact the hslibrary@asij.ac.jp |
