Majolica Mugs

Return to Middle School Ceramics page

Ceramics students worked with slab construction techniques to complete some beautiful animal inspired mugs. These mugs were glazed using the majolica technique of applying a white gloss glaze to the bisque ware and then painting brightly coloured details in underglaze.

Two examples of the majolica style - the Leopard and Koala mugs.
