Students or families can sponsor or donate hardcover books to
the library from the categories outlined below. Books contributed from
the following categories will bear a bookplate on the inside cover with the name of the
donor and the occasion the book is honoring (such as a birthday, graduation,
etc.)
English Books about Japan - The library can always use books in English about Japan, or English language
versions of traditional Japanese tales. These can be found at Kinokuniya,
Jena, and Tower Books. Purchasing locally will allow children to
participate in the selection of the book they donate. Books purchased in
this category do not require any advance arrangement with the librarian.
Duplicate Copies of Popular Titles - For people who order books over the Internet, or like to shop on home trips, the
library can provide a list of perennial favorites that are always
welcome. Since this list is updated frequently, please check with the
Middle School Library prior to making your purchase.
Sponsoring Books from the Library Order - Perhaps the easiest way to make a donation to the Middle School Library is
to sponsor a book or order. Contact the Middle School Library and select a
book from the materials on order and/or waiting for processing. Payments
can be made through the Advancement Office designating the contribution as a
Middle School Library Book Donation.
If you have any questions concerning the Book Donation Plan, please contact the
Middle School Library on ext. 295.
