Welcome to the Democracy Tour Agency. I have booked you on some tours that will be taking you through time.  You will be participating in numerous tours, and a series of interviews explaining democracy. I will introduce you to a friend of mine – Solon, the Greek philosopher, who will be explaining democracy’s history.  

Democracy is a political system in which citizens are given a ‘voice’ in political matters. It began in Athens, Greece, sparked by the philosophy of my friend, Solon. There are many concepts to democracy, and history has taken part in shaping the government we have today. Numerous aspects of it have led to the establishment of peace in nations.
