Narrator: She Doesn't Belong
- Tamara (pointing at Invisible Student)
- There she is again? Doesn't she know she doesn't belong? She's not one of us.
- Mariko
- She's not a part of any group.
- Margaret
- Who'd have her?
- Yuko
- Who is she?
- Narrator
- I don't know, but when Principal Peters was calling off the raffle this morning there were a bunch of names I hadn't even heard of before.
- Tamara
- Like six graders.
- Narrator
- Not just sixth graders
- Magaret
- Maybe she's new.
- Narrator
- I don't remember her from last year.
- Tamara
- She doesn't have any friends.
- Yuko
- I wonder why.
- Narrator
- It's like she just appeared out of no where.
- Tamara
- As far as I'm concerned she can go back to nowhere. Before she showed up everything was just fine around here. Now everything is so- so-
- Narrator
- Weird.
- Tamara
- Yeah, and everybody's so touchy or something.
- Mariko
- Go ask her name.
- Yuko
- No way, you go.
- Tamara
- No, someone might think I know her. I'd be humiliated.
- Narrator (to audience)
- Ask any teenager and she'll tell you that the worst fear, the very worst, is fear of embarrassment.
