Monday Feb 20 - 2:45 to late bus : Sing  your song
Tuesday Feb 21 2:45 to late bus : Dance (practice with audition video)
Monday Feb 27 2:45 to late bus : Acting and make ups (acting cold reading of script)

Download, print and bring completed Audition Form with attached photo to audition
(audition form is a Pages doc)

1 SING - Feb 20
Prepare a 1 to 2 minute a cappella audition song
Choose a song that shows off  your best vocal quality and theatrical engagement.
Broadway musical song is recommended
but more important is to choose a song you relate to and can express.
Know the name of the first note you sing.
You will perform without piano or recorded backing.

2 DANCE - Feb 21
Practice the audition dance steps for Tuesday's Audition. Use the half speed to get the steps and then try full speed.
We will review the dance briefly at the end of Monday's audition.
You should practice this weekend and ask questions or for tips on Monday.

I recommend reading two chapters from Michael Shurtleff's book,"Audition,"
