Matt
Matt Rogers serves as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFO/COO) at The American School in Japan. Raised as a Third Culture Kid across Southeast Asia, Matt brings extensive leadership experience spanning education, hospitality, and real estate developmen, with deep expertise in finance, operations, risk management, HR, capital planning, and facilities management. Prior to joining ASIJ, he spent nearly a decade in senior leadership as COO at Singapore American School, where he managed key operational functions and spearheaded a transformative campus redevelopment project. Outside of his work supporting school operations and student growth, Matt enjoys outdoor cycling, music, and fitness, and resides in Tokyo with his wife, Vicki, and their son, Kasey.
