Application Fee

An application fee of ¥20,000 JPY (or US $200) must accompany every application. (Cash payment can only be in Japanese Yen.)  Please note that the application fee is not included in your employer's Corporate Contribution Plan (CCP) amount. Invoices for the application fee are not issued. A receipt is provided for reimbursement purposes.


Be sure to note the name of the applicant when sending payment. If one bank transfer or check is used to pay application fees for several applicants, please fax a copy of the transaction receipt or check and the names of the applicants. Receipts will be issued for fees paid in cash and check. In other cases, your transaction receipt or canceled check will be your receipt.

Payments may be made in yen, paid in person at the Early Learning Center or the Chofu Office of Admissions.

Payment can be made by US dollar check from a US bank made payable to The American School in Japan.
