How to Give to ASIJ

Tax Deductibility

Dollar donations are tax-deductible in the US when made through Give2Asia—they can be made by credit card online, stock or check. Please see below.
Tokuzo receipts cannot be issued for dollar donations.

Gifts that are tax-deductible in Japan can be made in yen via bank transfer, yen check or cash. Please see below.

Giving Yen to ASIJ

Yen gifts over ¥5,000 are eligible for tax deductibility under the special designated tax status (tokuzo) that ASIJ has received. Donations over this amount that are less than 30% of an individual's taxable income are allowed. Corporations may deduct double the normal permitted amount. ASIJ issues receipts for yen donations.
