In the Admissions pages, along with the information you will need to obtain a clear understanding of the admissions process for our campuses in Chofu (grades K to 12) and Roppongi (nursery, pre-K and Kindergarten), you will be able to review admissions procedures. If you are moving to Japan for the first time, we are here to help you with a very important decision—choosing the right school for your children.
Admissions staff at both campuses are available to answer your questions via phone and email. We welcome your requests for an appointment for an admissions visit, a tour of the campus, or to attend an open house event. We are accepting applications for 2019-20 at certain grade levels. However, parents should contact the Admissions Office at Chofu and/or the Early Learning Center in Roppongi prior to submitting an application since wait pools have formed at some grade levels. Interviews/Screenings Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten:
Most applicants will have screening prior to admission. For Grades 1-12: There is no requirement for an interview or ASIJ entrance examination. Applicants may be invited for screening prior to an admission decision.
