A short film about human connection and interaction, created during quarantine.
You can feel it everywhere—the buzz of being back on campus, the warmth of being surrounded by friends and teachers. We feel suddenly grateful for what was once so normal. Back in June, for an AP English project, I created a short film about human connection, or the lack thereof. The film was made in the midst of Distance Learning—within the four walls of my bedroom and with only the company of my reflection in the lens of a camera—so the theme of isolation might be a familiar one for many. As things are readjusting and we are back in each other’s presence, I hope the film stands as a reminder to cherish each other immensely while keeping one another safe. This film is here for you to watch. Please enjoy, reach out; know that you are not alone.
