We focus on the whole child. At the core of this is ASIJ’s Portrait of a Learner, transdisciplinary global competencies designed to help students survive and thrive in a complex world, to make a difference to the organizations and communities in which they work and live. We are committed to the development of these competencies across all content areas and aspects of school life, to drive deep, consistent learning.

We want our students to be open to different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives and to understand the importance of inclusion and equity. To support this, we actively seek candidates who represent the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of our community. ASIJ welcomes applications from all backgrounds, including those traditionally underrepresented in the international school community, to ensure our faculty reflects the inclusive world we are preparing our students to lead.
