The Creative Arts Design Center (CADC) houses four design tech labs packed with the latest equipment that allow students to explore the design cycle, solve real-world problems and prototype their solutions. A maker space in the elementary library provides our younger students with hands-on opportunities to create.
Each Chofu division has spacious art rooms featuring everything a budding artist needs to create. Whether they are studying ceramics, metalwork, photography or taking Advanced Placement Studio Art, our art rooms have all the equipment they require from kilns to cameras.
Our two large elementary music rooms and ELC music room offer plenty of space for movement during class and room for our young students to create music.
Middle and high school students have access to our specialist band and choir rooms, a digital composition space featuring the latest hard and software, and individual and ensemble practice rooms.
Students in the middle and high schools take advantage of the state-of-the-art editing equipment and digital video studio to create and film their own video projects. The studio is also used by ASIJ TV to broadcast and record events held in the ASIJ Theater and Black Box.
The dance studio provides a dedicated space for our ballet and dance clubs to practice as well as a variety of other student activities.
